Q: |
WHAT ARE YOUR
HOURS? |
A: |
We are available for a live
person to answer the phone 24/7/365 (except for rare situations). Our regular
business hours are from 9:00am to 6:00PM but, in an emergency, we can have
someone available within 4 hours of any call. |
 |
|
 |
Q: |
WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT FROM OTHER SERVICE
COMPANIES? |
A: |
Many other computer service companies sub-contract their work
to part-time individual technicians, so there is no control over their
qualifications. We only use full-time, qualified and experienced technicians.
While we are a local company, we have a large network of
technicians available to consult with in those one-in-a-million
type situations. No one person has all of the answers, but when we don't have
the solution immediately, we can get it in a matter of minutes.
Computer Service Professionals provides the service and peace of mind you
deserve. Call us today!

Q: |
WHAT IS YOUR GUARANTEE? |
A: |
Labor is warranteed for 12 months. The labor warrantee only covers work performed during service and does not
guarantee that additional problems will not occur after service. Parts are
warranteed by the manufacturer. |

 |
Q: |
WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE? |
A: |
We service the greater Delray Beach area from Lake Worth to Boca Raton. If you need service
out of this area, please call 561-752-4460 for availability information. |

 |
Q: |
CAN WE BRING OUR COMPUTER TO YOUR SHOP FOR SERVICE? |
A: |
Our shop is a closed facility and we do not have a store front. However, we do
have certified drop off locations in most areas that we service. Computers left
at one of these locations before noon will be serviced the same day. Items
left after noon will be serviced either the same day or the next day.
Service rates are lower when items are left at one of our drop off locations (see Rates below). |

Q: |
DO YOU SELL USED COMPUTERS OR PARTS? |
A: |
We do not normally sell
computers but occasionally have rebuilt and recertified computers for sale.
Also, for new computers, we offer a buying program where we purchase your
computer from your specifications at the best possible retail outlet.
We also do not usually sell parts but, if you are in need of a specific part and
we have it in our inventory, we will be happy to sell it to you. |

Q: |
WHY IS MY COMPUTER RUNNING SLOW? |
A: |

causes for a computer to be running slow. The following are the main causes:
Hardware:
Not enough internal RAM (memory).
Hard drive almost completely full.
Hard drive about to fail.
Software:
Computer in need of a tune-up. Click

Q: |
WHY CAN'T I GET ON THE INTERNET? |
A: |
There are three main
reasons why you can't get on the Internet:
1. A problem with you ISP (internet Service Provider).
They may be
experiencing an outage or there is a problem with your
modem. Before
calling them, however, them next two items should be checked.
2. A problem with your router. If you have wireless capability,
you have a
router installed that may need to be re-configured or may
have failed.
3. An error in your software. This might be from a problem with your
browser, a configuration error, a software problem or a virus.
The best way to solve a problem with connecting to the Internet is to call us! |

Q: |
WHY CAN'T I START MY COMPUTER? |
A: |
1. Nothing
happens when I push the START button.
First, check that the computer is plugged in and there is
power at the
plug. If it still doesn't start, there is a hardware problem that
requires
a technician.
2. I get a message when starting up that the OS cannot be found or a
similar message.
The most common cause of this is a bad hard drive.
There are other
causes, but none that a non-technician can solve.
3. I cannot remember my startup password.
Call us and we can reset you startup password.
4. After entering my password, the system either hangs or takes a very
long time to start.
There are conflicting, bad or too many startup
programs. Our tune-up will
fix this. |

Q: |
Why does my monitor stays black? |
A: |
First, make sure that
it is plugged in and there is power to the outlet. Then makes sure that it is
connected securely to the computer. If this is not the problem, it is either a
bad monitor or a problem in the computer. If the monitor is bad, it will
probably be better to buy a new one that to try to have the old one repaired.
If the problem is in the computer, it is usually either a bad mother board or a
bad video board. A video board is not too expensive to replace, but the mother
board may be more. |
